What makes it kiss-cut
A die-cut shape needs one cut line. A kiss-cut shape needs two — the sticker itself, cut through the vinyl only, and the backing around it, cut all the way through — plus a safe area inside the sticker. They have to stay in that order, or the backing gets trimmed straight through the sticker.

Sizes
The size you sell is the finished sticker. The backing is 4 mm larger overall, and the editing page your customer sees is 8 mm larger, so bleed is handled before they start.

What stays fixed
With a fixed shape the risky part is not the outline, it is the order of the lines around it. That order is locked on the product before a single customer opens the editor.
The circle, square or rounded outline comes from the product, not from the uploaded image, so every order of the same product cuts the same way.
When you save a kiss-cut shape product, the cut margin must be larger than the sheet trim. A spec that would trim through the sticker is refused in your settings, not discovered at the cutter.
It is drawn on the canvas while the customer works, not shown once at checkout.
A fixed shape is where ready-made designs work best. Register a template once and your customer only swaps the name, the date or the photo. The sample on this page started as an AI-generated SVG.
Die-cut or kiss-cut
Circle, square and rounded are also sold die-cut — cut all the way through, so the sticker is the whole piece. Kiss-cut keeps it on a backing: easier to hand out, easier to peel, and the backing edge protects the sticker in a bag.
That is the free-form kiss-cut format: every design gets its own contour cut line, and the sheet carries its own trim line.

Your catalogue
Every shape product carries its own size, cut margin, sheet trim and safe area. Start from any Pressria preset, set your own size and margins, and the shape and cut type stay locked to the base — so a new size is a row in your settings, not a release.
