How it works
The web editor is one important part of production. With template upload before it and prepress and nesting after it connected as a single flow, an order becomes a print-ready file without passing through anyone’s hands.
Your customer designs in the browser, on your store. Background removal and cut line generation happen on their own.
Cut line, white layer, transparency and overprint are all set automatically — the work that used to take an operator a day.
Many orders are nested onto a single sheet and handed over as a print-ready file that goes straight to Illustrator or your RIP.
Front — authoring
Every other web-to-print tool asks you to build them again in a browser. The Pressria plug-in for Adobe Illustrator® reads the ones you already have.
What rebuilding costs you
6 steps× every asset — repeated per product
With a few hundred assets, registering them becomes a project of its own — while the .ai file that already contained every one of them sits on your drive, unused.
What the plug-in does instead
2 steps— one pass, however many files
ai · eps following the layer conventionRun it from Window > Extensions in Illustrator. It reads your layers and deconstructs the artwork into text, image and vector assets — thumbnails and the design area generated for you. Nothing is redrawn.
What you stock
The editor is filled by four distinct kinds of content, and the plug-in registers all four straight from Illustrator — each into a category you created yourself. Templates add one more axis: they are registered against the products you choose, so your t-shirt editor shows t-shirt templates and your sticker editor shows sticker templates.

An illustration of the plug-in step, not a screenshot — pick the content type and the category, then point it at the folder.
One store’s entire image library — several hundred assets, the whole set its customers choose from — went up in a single session of about two hours. Set the categories up once, then register straight into them from Illustrator — thumbnailed, published, no sorting pass afterwards. Times vary with file count, file size and connection.
Sources follow the Pressria layer convention — layer names are what tell the plug-in which parts a customer may edit.
Pressria is not a stock asset library — it is a tool for artwork you made or are licensed to use.
What's inside
Most tools cover up to the editor. Pressria carries it from the intake of Illustrator source files all the way to the press sheet.
A browser-based product designer your customers actually finish — upload an image, place it, preview in 3D, done. Curved and wave text, outline and shadow are adjusted right in the browser.
Die-cut cut lines, a white ink layer, transparency and overprint are generated automatically for every order.
Many orders are packed onto one print sheet automatically, optimizing material use and removing manual layout. Die-cut singles and kiss-cut sticker sheets are supported too — contour cut lines and sheet layout are generated and handed straight to Illustrator.
The steps a prepress operator does by hand — cut path, white, overprint, layout — run automatically, order after order.
Upload the Illustrator sources your designers already made — following the layer convention — and they become web-editable product templates on their own. Nothing to rebuild in a web builder. PNG and JPG work too, a whole folder at a time. Get it on Adobe Exchange → Pressria is not a stock asset library — it is a tool for artwork you made or are licensed to use.
Getting started
What actually takes time in web-to-print isn't the software — it's having designs worth selling. With most tools, even once you have the artwork, you rebuild it element by element in a web builder.
Pressria takes the whole folder. Drop in a folder of PNGs or JPGs — however many are in it — and they become design templates in one pass, with thumbnails generated by the plugin and registered alongside them. Upload Illustrator sources (ai·eps) and the text and clipart stay live and editable.
If you don't have artwork yet, pick up Full POD licensed assets from a subscription service such as Creative Fabrica and upload the folder as it is. One subscription gives you starting stock; the plugin does the converting.
Listed on Adobe Exchange Pressria Plugin — plug-in for Adobe Illustrator®Prepare template images at a resolution that suits the size they will print at. The editor uses what you upload as it is and does not scale resolution for you. Assets produced and sold for print use are generally fine as they come.
The licence has to be held on your own account, and Full POD assets may be sold while your subscription stays active. Terms differ by provider — check theirs before you use an asset.
Integrations
Embed the customizer in the store you already run, so orders come in with the design attached and flow straight into production. The WooCommerce plugin is live on WordPress.org; the Shopify integration is still in preparation — request a launch notification and we’ll get in touch when it ships.
For Shopify stores — planned
For WooCommerce / WordPress — on the WordPress.org plugin directory
The difference
Upstream, the Illustrator plugin turns your source files into editable product templates. Downstream, cutlines, white layers and automated nesting carry each order to the moment before print. People step in only where a judgment call is actually needed.
Products
The same web-to-print pipeline drives each product. From a 30 mm keychain to a 2,100 × 2,970 mm large-format print, setup works the same way — the print area scales to the physical dimensions you enter. Start with acrylic keychains — a live, working example.

How a code is priced. Line item price × the tier rate — never below the minimum shown above, and never above $5.00 per code on any tier.
One code is one finished design. Reprinting or re-downloading the same code is never charged twice, however many copies you print from it.
Your billing cycle is your own. Usage is tracked on a monthly cycle that starts the day you sign up and repeats on that date each month — not on the 1st. Sign-up dates of the 29th to 31st settle on the 28th. Invoiced through Lemon Squeezy.
Plan fees are billed in arrears together with that cycle's usage, and a plan change takes effect at the start of your next cycle.
Refunded or cancelled orders. When a line item is fully refunded or the order is cancelled, the commission is waived and only the minimum applies — the production file was already made. Refunding part of a line item’s quantity, or refunding an amount without reducing the quantity, does not waive it.
Currency and tax. Prices are set in USD and exclude tax. Orders in other currencies are converted at the exchange rate captured when each code is issued.

FAQ
Web-to-print software (also written web to print, or web2print) lets your customers customize a product in the browser and turns their design into a print-ready file automatically. Pressria adds cut lines, a white layer, overprint, and automated nesting, so the file is ready to print without manual prepress.
WooCommerce: yes, available now. Pressria for WooCommerce is listed on the WordPress.org plugin directory — install it free from your WordPress admin, and the product customizer is embedded in your store with a print-ready file generated for every order. Shopify is still in preparation — request a launch notification and we’ll contact you when it ships.
Templates are built to the layer convention. Layer names are what tell the plug-in which parts a customer may edit — text, clipart and the design area. Save your Illustrator file to that convention, upload it, and it becomes an editable product template on its own. The convention itself, and a sample file built to it, are provided separately.
Automated nesting packs many orders onto a single print sheet automatically to optimize material use. In one real result, 289 die-cut outlines were arranged onto a single 900×600 mm sheet in 52 seconds — work that takes a skilled operator tens of minutes by hand.
Most product designers stop at the editor. Pressria continues past it: the edited design is converted with cut line, white layer and overprint, then nested onto the sheet and carried to a print-ready file. The customizer is the entrance; the prepress and nesting automation is the difference.
Custom stickers and die-cut acrylic products such as acrylic keychains are supported today, with the same pipeline extending to other print-on-demand items like t-shirts, tote bags, mugs, phone cases and canvas shoes.
Designs you obtained through a subscription service can be registered as product templates and sold from them, provided the licence is held on your own account. Pressria is not a stock asset library; it is a tool that turns artwork you already own or license into a product you can sell. Everything you upload stays tied to your own account, your customers only ever interact with a low-resolution preview, and they never reach your source files. Ownership of your assets and control of their licensing stay with you. Licence terms differ by provider, though, and a subscription-based licence may permit sales only while the subscription stays active. Check each provider's licence terms before you use an asset.
